Featuring music by Portuguese composers alongside works by two major figures of contemporary music, Beat Furrer and Gérard Grisey, this double CD invites listeners to explore a portfolio in progress – an anthology that brings together both selected and established repertoire worked throughout the last seasons by the Portuguese ensemble. The presented release features a collection of pieces in which the group had the opportunity to work in close collaboration with composers, fostering a sense of cooperation and process-sharing toward the group’s first album.
